As all of you know, Dustin Miller & Ben Marolt have been operating Northern Visual Services since June 24, 2008. The new owners are introducing many new services and features to all of our clients and hope that within the next year to talk to each one of you. The first major news of the new year is our name change: Northern Visual Services will be known as Cold Snap Technology. Dustin Miller has provided computer services under the Cold Snap Technology name for the past 4 years. With the merging of the companies, we will begin offering many new services and features to our clients. If it is computer or web related, be sure to check with us for we will more than likely be able to provide a solution. If we cannot, we will refer you to someone who can.

Cold Snap Technology has started a newsletter which we will send from time to time to let you know about important information and new options available to you. This will include news about the company, new services we are offering, discount coupons, and other information that may interest you.

New Name

Hope your holiday season was a great one. We at Northern Visual Services have been very busy planning for 2009. There are many changes coming throughout the upcoming year, and the most obvious one is being announced right here in this email. This would be a name change. Northern Visual Services will now be known as Cold Snap Technology. We feel that the name Cold Snap Technology is better fit for the services we provide and we think it is a very memorable name, especially this time of year in northern Minnesota.

We hope this name change will not cause confusion in any of our relationships with any of our current clients. Along with this name change, there are many new services which will benefit our clients.

New Services

We have many new services we will be introducing in 2009. The first new service we are introducing is the Content Management System (CMS) that we have developed. The CMS allows our clients to update their own site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If your site is built with the CMS or converted to a CMS website, you will have a set of access codes which will allow you to update nearly anything on your site, except the layout/design of your site. Most of the text, images and links on your site will be editable by you including the menu structure of your site.

The CMS is an excellent feature for clients who have frequent small updates and don't want to have to pay us for every update. There is a small annual fee for the license of this CMS.
